Position Summary In this contract (summer) position, the Summer Student will be responsible for completing the day-to-day activities around the facility that include loading, adhering to policies, procedures and safety requirements and any other general duties. Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Bulk loading and offloading. - Loading and unloading of pails, drums, and totes. - General housekeeping duties (sweeping, painting, etc.). - Adhering to all safety standards and requirements. - Performing any other duties as required. Shift Information: Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm and be available to work overtime if required. Required Qualifications: - Completion of high school diploma, along with a college diploma in-progress or completed. - Previous work experience is welcome, but not essential. Paid, in-house training is provided for this position. - A strong work either and an ability to work both autonomously and within a small team setting. - A reliable method of transportation to and from work in a timely manner. - Ability to work effectively, being responsible, resourceful, and autonomous. - Lastly, a good sense of humour will also be a great asset!
