Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $44,200 - Midpoint: $55,300 (Salaried E6) Department/Organization: 200501 - Overseas Studies (Main Account) Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some nights and weekends as needed. Job Summary: The Academic Advisor I provides guidance to University students on academic progress, courses, University resources, etc. Identifies courses to be completed in upcoming semesters. Explains University and College policies. May teach compass course as needed. Additional Department Summary: Advises prospective study abroad students on potential programs and opportunities. Assists students with proper documentation. Informs students about policies and procedures. Assists with marketing and recruitment, programming and events, and developing and maintaining resources for students and families. Develops and maintains positive and professional relationships with other personnel within UA, (faculty and staff), as well as outside relationships with partner institutions and affiliate providers.
