About the Role: Job Summary Neuro IMC is a 16-bed Intermediate Care nursing unit. Neuro IMC serves as a dedicated stroke nursing unit. As a Neuro IMC unit, care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care neuro patients including but not limited to: - High acuity ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients - Patients receiving IV thrombolytic for acute ischemic stroke - Patients requiring continuous EEG monitoring - Patients with other neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS - Patients with hemodynamic instability needing antiarrhythmic and/or vasopressor medications Minimum Job Qualifications: Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
