Atlantic Tire Distributors has openings for Non-CDL Delivery Drivers! Summary: Drive a light vehicle, such as a truck, with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to deliver or pick up tires. May load and unload vehicle; as well as other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities: Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. Properly document goods delivered or loaded. Load and unload trucks: Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
