EHR Engineering Deployment Site Practitioner

Job description

Gritter Francona is looking for a Deployment Site Practitioner to help support the full lifecycle deployment and implementation of the Oracle EHR system throughout Veterans Affairs hospitals. The Practitioner is responsible for performing/organizing discovery efforts at various hospitals & clinics (i.e. sites) related to End User Devices (EUDs), interfaced systems, & Data Drops & Power Outlets (DDPO) and will then perform post discovery analysis to inform technical scope and requirements. Building an understanding of the client's list of standard capabilities, devices, and interfaces is essential to perform meaningful discovery and gap analysis. Strong written and oral communication skills are required, as is a proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint). Throughout the remainder of the deployment lifecycle, the Practitioner will support device procurement tracking & logistics, own relationships with local site IT leaders and other technology / network / engineering groups, and overall support the technical readiness of a transition to a new EHR.
