Job Description Summary: This position is responsible for assisting staff Physical Therapists in accordance with the Ohio Physical Therapy Board laws and rules. Following the set POC, the physical therapist assistant provides patient treatment, patient/family instruction and assists in discharge planning. The PTA documents in the medical record and communicates with the multidisciplinary team. The PTA collaborates with the supervising physical therapist including, but not limited to, the need for PT reassessment. This position helps patients achieve maximum functional outcomes.
