Job description

Position Summary Production, assemble and package products for customer orders. Duties & Responsibilities: - Packages bulk material into small quantities. Review work orders, production orders, and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves for holding area. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method. Opening bales, crates, and other containers. Record amounts of materials package on to work order log sheet. Weigh and count items for distribution to ensure conformance to Tanner’s standards. - Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Assist as needed and as requested with Shipping Dept. duties (cross training will be provided). Basic Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED and one year of Warehouse experience - Ability to read English, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
