The laboratory works on mucin trafficking mechanisms in the airway epithelium. This position focuses on both research and lab management, with approximately 80% of the time dedicated to research projects. Job Description: Job Duties Research Overview: Design and conduct experiments and interpret data under the mentorship of the Principal Investigator (PI). Design and carry out cell culture and rodent-based research projects. Develop and troubleshoot research protocols. Analyze experimental data and interpret results for use in publications, grant applications, and determining the next steps in the research. Perform cellular and molecular biology experiments pertaining to define the molecular mechanisms of mucin trafficking in the airway epithelium.
