Job description

Position Summary: The Patient Success Pharmacist I supports several operational teams, including the Patient Engagement Team, InteliView Pharmacist Team, and Pharmacy Fulfillment Team. This role is responsible for transferring prescriptions, consulting with providers and patients on medication orders, and ensuring proper dosing, handling, and usage of prescribed medications. The Patient Success Pharmacist I works directly with patients to answer questions and provide clinical guidance while performing a variety of pharmacy functions each day. Key Responsibilities: Process prescriptions in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Support the Patient Engagement Team with clinical education and patient inquiries. Assist patients with questions about side effects, medication administration, and general usage. Manage manufacturer recalls and product backorders. Handle prescription transfers, physician calls, data logging, and drug utilization reviews. Serve as the primary clinical liaison between Patient Engagement and Pharmacy Operations.
