Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Battery processor is responsible for operating the battery processing line, data entry and forklift movements. Key Responsibilities: · Processing batteries · Transport raw materials, scrap and recyclable materials throughout plant using a forklift · Data entry using Microsoft Excel and Greentrax · Clean work areas and equipment · Perform other duties as assigned by management Knowledge, Skills and Key Competencies: · Completion of secondary school · Must be able to perform labour intensive duties (i.e. heavy lifting is required) · Must have strong verbal and written communication skills · Forklift experience an asset · Physical strength is required for manual material handling materials · Long standing, walking and some minimal climbing of ladders and stairs · Wearing and maintenance of required PPE including respirator mask Working Conditions: · You must be able to stand for long periods of time · You may be exposed to environmental conditions such as hot, cold, dirt...
