Description POSITION DESCRIPTION: Title: Education Program Assistant I (Impact Lead I, Education) - [25 hours/week] Work Schedule: Part-time – non-exempt, generally scheduled up to 25 hours per week, Mondays – Friday, between 12:00pm and 6:00pm. Training and programming may be scheduled outside of this time. MISSION: “Our Mission is to inspire and empower the youth of Monterey County to realize their full potential to become responsible, healthy, productive and successful citizens.” POSITION SUMMARY: Working under the direction of their assigned Elementary Education Coordinator, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County (BGCMC) Education Impact Leader I plays an essential role in helping youth succeed as they directly serve as positive role models, mentors and activity leaders to diverse youth delivering an engaging, age-appropriate and outcome-driven education program with specialized focus on literacy support.
