Job Title: Engineer I, Systems and Control Engineer Job Description: Control Systems Engineer I The Role: Entegris is currently seeking a Control Systems Engineer I to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division. This position will be at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated control systems for bulk gas purifiers. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Systems Engineering. What You’ll Do: - Design and Implement Control Systems: Industrial controls engineers create, develop, implement and maintain control systems for different sectors. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test these systems. - Software and Hardware Solutions: They develop both software and hardware solutions for control systems, ensuring efficient and reliable operation. - Algorithm Design: These engineers design and implement algorithms for feedback control systems, optimizing processes and productivity. - Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues related to hardware and processes, plan preventative maintenance, and find creative solutions when problems arise. - Efficiency Enhancemen...
