CNC Machinist (Experienced) - weekend shift

Description Manufacture parts to specification; setup, adjust and prepare CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Chuckers and/or CNC Swiss; optimize machine capability, produce quality product; and perform other tasks as assigned. This individual would work 3 x 12-hour shifts Friday-Sunday, paid for 40 hours. This position requires activities that are subject to US Export Control Laws and require US Citizenship or Green Card Holder. Requirements: - Set up machines and run production. - Troubleshoot and remedy complex tooling and machine issues. - Produce simple tooling from raw material. - Ensure machines are properly maintained. Know when and why machine is not at peak performance, how to increase performance and fix errors. Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment. - Operate to workmanship standards, working from prints, process routings, and/or samples to achieve, or to exceed quality and productions standards. Seek assistance if standards cannot be met. - Inspect first pieces, using predetermined gaging instruments such as micrometers, depth micrometers, comparator, fixed gaging, and other job specific gaging instruments to maintain specified requirements. - Report work pe...
