Position Number: 22162912 Location: Delta Heritage Trail State Par -PT15 County: Phillips: Anticipated Starting Salary: $63,085.98: The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities over 84 miles of trail, including trail maintenance construction projects such as bridge repair and trail resurfacing. Because the park covers a large geographical area (a 2-hour drive from one end to the other), this position is highly active and daily frequent travel is required. The position requires regular travel across all trail sections by vehicle, side by side, bicycle, or on foot. Success in the role depends on demonstrated knowledge of trail maintenance practices, strong computer proficiencies for reporting and coordinating tasks, and the ability to respond effectively to operational and emergency situations.
