Laborer - Water & Sewer - Non-potable - Seasonal

Salary Range: $18.15 - $26.32 Hourly Job Summary: The Laborer in the non-potable water division obtains daily readings from various stations, daily inspections and assists system operators with preventive maintenance. Additional duties may include performing work on pumps, valves, sprinklers, mowing grass, maintaining pump station sites and other related job duties. This is a seasonal assignment and may work up to 40 hours per week for approximately 1,040 hours or up to 6 months, whichever occurs first. Experience, Knowledge, Skills: Minimum Requirements Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus but not required. - High school diploma or equivalent - Current driver's license with good driving record (MVR and background check required) - Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, lawn mowing and sprinklers - Previous experience with pump maintenance preferred; - Must be able to work weekends if needed.
