This role supports accounting and reporting functions for Protective’s mortgage loan investment portfolio, a key component of the company’s broader investment strategy. The position plays an integral role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting across U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting, and management reporting. The Mortgage Loan Investment Accountant is responsible for maintaining data integrity within Protective’s mortgage loan accounting systems, executing month‑end close activities, and supporting both routine and evolving reporting requirements.
