Senior Analyst (Open Source Analysis)

Job description

We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst to join one of the groups specialist divisions, World Services. Partnering with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector, we work on the critical issues of our time, including national security, social justice and conflict prevention. What you'll do: Monitoring and analysing the politics, media, and information environments of Eastern Europe, acting as an in-house source on that region’s politics, culture and information space. This includes utilising media monitoring and social listening tools to inform reporting. Utilising Structured Analytical Techniques and open-source data to produce evaluative and forward-looking assessments for project stakeholders. Producing timely, relevant analyses, briefings and strategic recommendations verbally and in writing for many levels of the agency. Providing insight to support the development of communications strategies and responding to ad hoc research requests. Developing an understanding of regional strategy and project objectives, informing and guiding them. Providing support to other project/regional/thematic-assigned analysts, as required.
