POSITION SUMMARY: Tarkett, a global leader in innovative flooring and sports surfaces is seeking a hands-on EHS Specialist for our plant in Middlefield, OH. The EHS Specialist will support the administration of Workers Compensation, and help develop, maintain and improve environmental health and safety programs within the Middlefield site. The environmental health and safety program should strive to meet or exceed all regulatory requirements and provide for a safe work environment that is free of hazards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assists with all aspects of the Environmental Health and Safety program - Assist in the administration of workers compensation claim management and return to work programs - Assist in ensuring compliance to all Safe Work Practices (SWP), regulatory standards (EPA, OEPA, OSHA, NFPA, etc.) and plant policies and procedures - Assist with the ISO 14001 / 45001 EHS requirements and audit process for continued certification - Assists outside EHS consulting support firms to ensure compliance - Design, improve and deliver EHS training presentations and training for both small and large audiences, hourly and salaried - Deliver EHS orientation to new a...
