Engineer I - Water/Wastewater

Job description

Our Water/Wastewater team in Richmond is looking for an Engineer I to join our team. In this role you will perform design and project delivery for water/wastewater projects, including water distribution systems and sewage collection systems. This is an opportunity to work with a team of experienced project managers in a truly collaborative environment to support our municipal clients. Essential Functions: - Prepare design calculations, drawings, and specifications for water and wastewater pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities - Conduct technical evaluations to support planning and design related to water and wastewater systems - Assist with the preparation and review of technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents - Assist with project management activities for select tasks and develop project management skills for expanded responsibilities - Support field testing and investigations when required - Support construction projects with office engineering services (submittal review, contract document interpretation, requests for information, correspondence, change requests, and change orders) when required - Communicate effectively and...
