Coordinator Fine Arts - ( 260000I1 ) Description Job Overview The Coordinator Fine Arts will manage instructional program areas and perform some supervisory and administrative duties within the Fine Arts Department. The incumbent will supervise assigned Fine Arts program areas to ensure the delivery of a rigorous and aligned curriculum. The incumbent will also collaborate with others to ensure the continuous improvement of the District's Fine Arts programs and ensure the smooth operation of the Fine Arts Department and campus Fine Arts programs. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Curriculum & Instruction: - Supervise assigned Fine Arts program areas to ensure the delivery of a rigorous and aligned curriculum - Provide EC-12 Fine Arts teachers with the knowledge and skills to deliver the written, taught and assessed curriculum effectively, thereby improving student achievement and program retention - Plan, develop, execute and facilitate professional learning activities for Fine Arts teachers - Perform administrative and supervisory work involved in designing, developing, coordinating, implementing, evaluating, and revising Fine Arts curriculum - Advise teac...
