Job Summary: The Tool Crib Associate I role is responsible for the fundamental day-to-day operations of the tool storage and distribution center. This entry-level position focuses on learning the business's inventory management systems and ensuring the accurate issuance and return of tools to field and shop personnel. A typical day involves identifying specific tools, performing basic data entry, and maintaining a highly organized workspace to support production efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Facilitates the daily issuance and return of tools and equipment to ensure team members have the necessary resources for project execution. Performs accurate data entry into the inventory management system to track tool movement and location. Master tool identification across various categories to provide quick and accurate service to internal departments. Maintains a clean and organized crib environment using 5S Housekeeping Methodologies (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
