Compliance Officer Certified Medication Aide Program and Nurse Aide Registry 260002TI Description The Drug Control Program (DCP), situated within the Department’s Bureau of Health Professions Licensure, is tasked promoting prescription drug security and safe prescribing, dispensing and administration practices, and the certification of non-licensed health care professionals. DCP consists of the Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration Program, the Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP), the Pharmaceutical and Device Manufacturer Code of Conduct (PCOC), the Drug Stewardship Program, the Medication Administration Program (MAP), the Drug Formulary Commission, and the DCP Enforcement Unit. In addition, DCP now includes two important and related programs, the Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) and the Certified Medication Aide (CMA) programs. The Compliance Officer will review complaints, reports, documents, and pertinent information received from the public and agency personnel concerning alleged violations of laws and regulations by Certified Nurse Aides and Certified Medication Aides.
