Position Summary Working in a small team environment, the GI Motility RPN will be responsible for performing complex and invasive diagnostic procedures on patients. Testing includes both esophageal and anorectal procedures relating to gastrointestinal function. The GI Motility RPN will utilize the latest associated medical technology within the field of gastrointestinal motility. Qualifications: - Successful completion of a diploma program for a Registered Practical Nurse - A minimum of 2 years recent related nursing experience required - Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses - Current BCLS/HCP certification required - Demonstrated knowledge, sensitivity and expertise in the care of seniors and their families - Gentle Persuasive Approach training preferred - Previous gastrointestinal / endoscopy / surgical experience preferred - Demonstrated ability to function to the full scope of practice per the College of Nurses of Ontario - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with patients / clients, families and other members of the health care team - Demonstrated ability to set priorities and organize work in response to patient / client needs - Demonstrated co...
