About the Role The Shift Manager Beverage will have primary responsibility for management of Casino Beverage staff on an assigned shift. Position Responsibilities: - Trains and evaluates team members - Ensures accurate recordkeeping at all times - Interviews applicants according to established personnel policies and procedures. - Implements and adheres to all beverage cost control procedures - Ensures preparation of all drinks and cocktails according to recipes - Keeps beverage Department costs at acceptable levels. - Recommends specialty drink recipes and other merchandising concepts - Adheres to established food and beverage policies, labor relations, liquor laws and Health Department sanitary codes - Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility - Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned - Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Department Essential Functions: - Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards and liquor regulations (where applicable) are followed in adherence to state and local guidelines. - Arrange for maintenance and repair of equip...
