Description The School of Technology for Public Health (STPH) at Arizona State University (ASU) invites applications for a postdoctoral research scholar position in women’s and mental health services research and data science. The position is funded by multiple sources, including the NIH and STPH. The research program (Mental Health Informatics Laboratory [MHIL] led by PI Jyotishman Pathak) at STPH has strong expertise and a track record in perinatal health services and outcomes research. MHIL is focused on developing cutting-edge machine learning and other informatics approaches, including mixed methods, to conducting outcomes research, using large administrative healthcare claims databases, electronic health records, social media and mHealth data. The post-doc will join a vibrant team of health services researchers, computer scientists, informaticians, statisticians, and clinicians (psychologists, psychiatrists, OB/GYNs) and will receive close mentorship for developing an independent research career as well as team science.
