Description The University of Washington (UW) is recruiting for a full-time Assistant Professor (without tenure due to funding) in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, Department of Medicine on the physician scientist track. Patient care efforts will occur primarily at the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC), Montlake and Northwest Campuses. The successful candidate will conduct research focused on cystic fibrosis, and scholarship, teaching, and clinical service will be considered integral to this position. Clinical work will be both inpatient and outpatient and will focus on outpatient care in the Cystic Fibrosis and General Pulmonology Clinics, as well as inpatient service based on division and section needs at the UW Medical Center. Teaching responsibilities will include clinical bedside teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Assistant professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1–June 30).
