Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security. We currently have an opportunity for a Cybersecurity Engineer in Canberra to work on Defence Joint CJC03 projects. What You’ll Do: This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including: - Design, implement and maintain ICT systems and security controls aligned to Defence frameworks including ISM, Essential 8 and NIST standards - Support secure system administration, configuration and change management across enterprise environments - Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient and compliant solutions across CJC03 program requirements - Monitor, assess and respond to system vulnerabilities, threats and compliance gaps across network and cloud environments - Contribute to continuous improvement...
