Matrix Providers is hiring a Physician Flight Surgeon to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families at the United States Air Force Academy located in Colorado Springs, CO. - Employment Status: Independent Contractor - Compensation: This is an hourly position, paid bi-weekly. The Physician Flight Surgeon must have the following qualifications: - Degree : Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.). - Education: Graduation from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification. - Certification : The DoD only recognizes certifications issued by boards that are members of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists - Internship/Residency/Fellowship: Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for...
