Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking dynamic and creative candidates to join our growing Site Assessment and Remediation Team as a Senior Environmental Engineer. The Senior Environmental Engineer will take a technical lead role and execute designs for mine closure projects. This person may be required to work on several projects at a time. We support clients in all phases of the mining life cycle, from exploration through post-closure. The Senior Environmental Engineer will join our team of mine closure specialists across our western regional offices. This position will require a passionate and organized individual who can interface and develop relationships with our mining clients; develop and lead teams; develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules; develop and lead site investigations and characterization; execute and review calculations; develop mine closure plans; and prepare expertly written reports. This individual will interact throughout the organization internally and externally with clients and members of business and professional organizations.
