Job description

Under the direction of the Manager, Horticulture, the Assistant Manager, Horticulture supports the overall upkeep and presentation of resort grounds, including landscaped areas, floral installations, seasonal décor, and related horticultural features. This role provides daily operational leadership in the field, working closely with Groundskeeping and Landscape teams to maintain high visual, safety, and service standards. Supervises multiple crews and trade disciplines, coordinates responses to grounds and landscape service calls, and assists with décor and floral needs for special events. This position plays a key role in ensuring the resort’s grounds remain clean, safe, and visually exceptional at all times. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Manages, direct, assign, and evaluate daily work of horticulture staff across grounds, landscape, and décor teams; oversee training in horticultural techniques, equipment use, and resort standards. 2.
