SUMMARY: The Hospice Clinical Educator is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the orientation, training, and ongoing competency of clinical team members. This role involves developing and maintaining educational programs, evaluating staff performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. This position also mentors new hires, provides support to field staff, participates in committees and outreach initiatives, and ensures that all training and education align with organizational goals, quality standards, and best practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conducts orientation and precepting for all new team members, ensuring a comprehensive onboarding experience through mentoring, education, and support. - Reviews and updates the orientation and preceptor programs at least annually or as needed. - Participates in assigned committees, community outreach, and educational initiatives as required. - Identifies clinical and operational learning needs based on leadership feedback. - Develops, conducts, and maintains annual and ongoing skills competencies for clinical team members. - Evaluates team members' job-related competencie...
