Position Title: Pharmacy Manager- Inpatient Department: Pharmacy Job Description: General Description: Under the general direction of the Director of Pharmacy, is directly responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the assigned Pharmacy unit. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. - Responsible for the day to day operational management of the assigned Pharmacy unit in accordance with the hospital’s philosophies, goals and objectives to ensure the consistent provision of high quality patient care. - Provides management interventions related to pharmacy related issues of patient care through communication with physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. - Directly participates in various aspects of hospital computer systems database management to include primary hospital medical information system, automated dispensing machine system, TPN compounding system, controlled drug inventory system and Smart Pump drug library maintenance. - Maintains oversight of supply chain/inventory c...
