Job Description Overview: We are seeking an Senior Transit Architect to join our growing teams in Austin, TX. Under limited supervision applies technical proficiency to solutions for architectural problems and the coordination of related project activities. The successful candidate will be able to work with all levels of staff within the firm and will take initiative to develop research and design and implement projects from start to finish. The position also supports Business Development and presentation efforts in securing and advancing new projects. Your role: - Develop designs and sketches to be input into Revit-based construction documents as well as direct a project team to do the same. - Provide Project Managers with status reports of progress on architectural documents. - Communicate regularly with the team and stay within the hours budgeted for tasks assigned. - Initiate tasks independently and follow through for delivery as needed. - Performs such other duties as the Supervisor determine necessary to support the Architecture Practice.
