Job description

The quality assurance program manager leads information technology quality and testing initiatives across Berkshire Hathaway Energy. Establishes and implements quality assurance objectives, strategies, and plans. Responsible for program deficiency tracking and reporting. Analyzes deficiencies in service or performance and recommends product or service improvements to address problems. Develops and maintains quality assurance standards for information technology, including leveraging AI to improve test effectiveness, defect analysis, and overall quality outcomes. Establishes, maintains, and oversees the IT quality assurance strategy, objectives, and standards. Defines test strategy, tools, processes, and timelines for quality assurance of new and existing products and features. Builds, leads and mentors a team of quality assurance engineers, perform reviews, sets objectives and provides coaching to staff. Works closely and collaboratively with the project leads and development and architecture teams to establish the process for clear and efficient operations and communications related to the overall quality assurance process.
