Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Comparative Arts & Letters - ARTHC 111/201/202 Posting Close Date: April 29, 2026 *NOTE: Last day to apply is Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 11:59pm (MST) Position Start Date: June 22, 2026 Required Degree: MA required; PhD preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date. Experience: Teaching art history in a university setting. Duties/Expectations: Experience teaching Introduction to Art History (ARTHC 111). Experience teaching Art History before 1500 (ARTHC 201), which includes a s urvey of Western civilization emphasizing the visual arts from ancient Greece to the Gothic period. Experience teaching Art History since 1500 (ARTHC 202), which includes a s urvey of Western civilization emphasizing the visual arts from the Renaissance to the twentieth century. Prepare class lectures and presentations on course material. Administer quizzes and exams, consult and advise students, hold office hours, grade exams and papers.
