Job Summary Critical Care/Emergency Department Setting: Functions independently in the inpatient neonatal, critical care, and emergency services clinical settings in a primary, secondary, tertiary or quaternary hospital. Patients are typically intubated on ventilators and/or have hemodynamic instability. The focus is on very invasive procedures and the hemodynamic management of very critical patients. Manages ventilator settings, vasopressors and solve complex clinical cases. Cardiothoracic Surgery Setting with less than 5 years of CVTS experience: Provides a wide range of surgical and medical services which may include autotransfusion services, vein harvesting, assisting with cardiac programs or thoracic programs. Possesses knowledge of the procedures performed by Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgeons, must be able to provide 1st and/or 2nd assisting as needed.
