Job Description Union: Yes: Bargaining Unit/Local: International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 96 Rate Classification: Grade 4- $30.28 per hour, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement Number of Positions Available: 2: Position Summary: In this role, you’ll be out in the field each day reading gas meters across our service territory. You’ll handle a variety of assignments—like scatter reads, special reads, and gas light surveys—using a handheld device to collect accurate data. You’ll also install and inspect remote reading devices (ERTs), making sure everything is working properly. You’ll be responsible for making sure your daily routes are completed accurately and efficiently, and you’ll have the chance to suggest improvements to help streamline the process. This role involves driving (either a company or personal vehicle), working independently, and most importantly, helping ensure our customers and community stay safe and well-served.
