Social Worker 2026-2027 - ( 260000F2 ) Description Job Overview The Social Worker will serve as a support for students and families by providing services that identify and address the social-environmental issues that interfere with the educational process. Work with parents/guardians, teachers, school principal/principal's designee, and community based resources in implementing strategies that promote students' positive school adjustment. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Direct Service: - Perform casework services in a timely manner with individual students and/or their families to evaluate and resolve personal, social, or emotional maladjustments related to their educational and social progress - Collaborate with campus staff and other school district personnel in determining and implementing strategies, both individual and small group, which promote student learning including drop-out prevention initiatives, truancy prevention supports behavior interventions, and other campus requested supports - Make home visits upon request and/or as appropriate, based on collaboration with campus/district staff and in accordance with department guidelines - Provide s...
