Job Summary: Self-Checkout Attendants play a crucial role in store operations, often being customers' final point of contact. They are responsible for accurately processing various forms of payment for store merchandise. The attendant is assigned multiple Self-checkout (SCO) stations to oversee. Additionally, attendants assist with responsibilities in other departments as needed. Knowledge: Skills: Abilities: - Provide friendly and helpful customer service, including handling difficult situations and resolving customer concerns, with supervisor assistance as needed. - Supervise and operate SCO stations, ensuring customer accuracy in scanning items, processing payments, and troubleshooting as needed. - Maintain SCO stations operational at all times, addressing and resolving any technical issues promptly. - Manage customer flow at the SCO stations to ensure efficient service and minimize wait times. - Assist customers with the SCO process, including scanning items, using payment methods, and bagging purchases. - Monitor the SCO area to prevent theft and ensure customers follow store policies. - Accurately identify produce items and process produce codes. - Process all forms of transa...
