Major Function/Purpose of Position: The Career Coach is instrumental in advancing the career development of students and alumni by providing personalized career coaching, facilitating engaging webinars and workshops, and supporting the career services team in the execution of skills development activities. This role is pivotal in offering guidance on job search strategies, conducting mock interviews, assisting with resume and CV preparation, administering assessments, and helping students solidify their career choices. The Career Coach advances the university’s mission by equipping students and alumni with the clarity, skills, and confidence needed to pursue meaningful work and lifelong vocational development. Through individualized career coaching, skills-based workshops, and collaborative initiatives within the Center for Student Happiness, this role supports client formation, career readiness, and successful transitions into internships, employment, and graduate opportunities.
