JOB SUMMARY: Gain manufacturing experience by working with the Engineering Manager, operations team, and management while completing determined projects and applying engineering principles. REPORTING TO: Engineering Manager: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Basic knowledge of CAD systems and ability to learn SolidWorks. - Design and document our products, assembly, and tooling fixtures to support operations. - Review RFQ’s and use the equivalent information from the 3D model to create a 2D model - Develop 2D and 3D models based on customer requirements. - Assist the customer service team by getting specific information that customers are looking for. - Complete testing of various products to assist in development . - Document procedures. SKILLS and ABILITIES: - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a group. - Ability to take direction and work independently. - Strong desire to learn from all departments. - Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office systems. - Detail-oriented and able to work on several projects at a time.
