Position Summary: The AV Support Specialist is a key member of the Classroom Technology team, responsible for maintaining and supporting AV equipped spaces and the AV technology needs of faculty, staff, and students. This position requires a strong technical background in AV systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional experiences to the campus community. About the Team: Vanderbilt University Information Technology is a human-centric organization that advances our university by delivering innovative solutions and frictionless experiences through collaboration. The Classroom Technology team is responsible for providing direct support for AV technology enhanced spaces at Vanderbilt University. This support includes ensuring maximum technology uptime as well as class/event support, AV technology training for the Vanderbilt University community, and providing AV solutions for programs and events. Our team is comprised of audio-visual professionals and covers over 400 technology enabled spaces in distributed support zones.
