FTE: 1.0 , Shift: Day, Schedule: Fulltime Position Summary: The WIC Certifier I is responsible for determining WIC eligibility, scheduling potential participants and enrolling when qualified. External contacts include patients, families, physicians and outside organizations and agencies. Responsibilities: Requirements: High school diploma or GED Recognized as a Competent Professional Authority by Washington State Department of Health or able to qualify through on-the-job WIC Certifier training within 1 year of hire Bi-lingual preferred but not necessary (Spanish/English or Russian/English) - Communicates with participants in a sensitive manner regarding lifestyle, medical history, nutritional practices and income - Performs clerical tasks, including answering phones, prequalifying pr...
