SMT Assembly Technician

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting and processing surface mount (SMT) electronic sub-assemblies using robotic machines. What you’ll do: - Tend machines by quickly and efficiently loading/replenishing feeders with reels of components, entering programs into automated placement machinery, setting up support fixtures, and prepping - Position, align, and hand-place components on PCBs when required. - Collect quality data which is essential for continuous improvement and tracking of factory deliverables - Understand and execute tasks efficiently and accurately. - Problem solve and troubleshoot issues. - Responsible for timely maintenance of the machine according to maintenance schedule. - Inspect and log failed units - Operate automated optical inspection machine as needed. Requirements: What you'll bring: - Preferred 2+ years' experience in manufacturing environment.
