Job description

Position: Pool Attendant Department: Hotel Operations: Job Summary: Ensures guests enjoy an optimal experience while utilizing the pool facilities. Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but not limited to): - Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell to guests using a guest’s name, when possible, and making good eye contact. - Seats guests at the pool and/or directs them to cabanas, jacuzzi, etc… - Engages guests in polite conversation. - Provides exceptional service during guest’s stay by anticipating needs. - Ensures all pool and patio furniture is neatly arranged and clean. - Opens all umbrellas, cleans table tops and wipes off all chairs. - Takes orders for food and beverages including alcohol; delivers food and beverages accepting payment and giving change when necessary. - Routinely picks up empty trays, baskets and beverage containers disposing of and/or returning them to the proper area. - Provides towel service to all guests as needed. - Cleans and replaces dirty ashtrays as needed. - Functions as a supportive team member to other co-workers during shifts. - Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
