Job Description Position Description: This position is part of the COSI (Cost of Sales & Inventory) organization, which performs end-to-end activities of accounting for units of inventory all through the supply chain. In this role the Senior Specialist will be responsible for maintaining, reviewing, reporting and analyzing inventory, intercompany profit, production and product cost data, in supporting the monthly accounting close and management cycles for one or multiple plants. This role is responsible for the following: Maintain and create product cost according to US GAAP rules. Control, analyze and report production results and source-to-settle variances monthly to business partners by providing high-level commentary and providing estimates for recurring events to major stakeholders. Review and ensure accurate data is reported per plant in monthly product cost and inventory. Analyze and resolve in-transit inventory in a timely manner, following up to determine the driver of inventory remaining in-transit and partnering with parties to resolve.
