Job description

NOTE: This is a 40 hour/week contract position anticipated to last through all of 2026 and potential into 2027. Work may be performed remotely within the contiguous United States, with travel as required for business needs. POSITION SUMMARY : The Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) design engineering organization generates technical requirements and associated design parameters for the modular advanced light water reactor (ALWR) NSSS. Utilizing proven state-of-the-art methodologies NSSS components are engineered to nuclear industry standards. The person in this position will perform a range of activities associated with the design, analysis, and manufactur e of pressure vessels , related components, reactor vessel internals, and /or supports in accordance with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code ( BPVC ), Section III, and applicable regulatory requirements. All work within the NSSS Engineering design organization is completed under ASME NQA-1 quality assurance requirements and respective U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines.
