Laboratory Technician Derby: ABOUT YOU: The position requires a highly motivated and reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced laboratory environment. You will be comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift, following processes accurately and working efficiently as part of a busy operational team. You may already have some laboratory experience or be looking to begin your career within a scientific environment. We are particularly interested in candidates with a practical mindset, strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Required skills and experience: Good general standard of education in Science, English and Maths Some laboratory experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided Ability to follow instructions, SOPs and laboratory procedures accurately Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good IT literacy skills: Flexible and reliable approach to work Comfortable working in a physically active laboratory role Experience within food, microbiology or production environments would be advantageous Science degree preferred but not essential ABOUT TH...
