Automation / Robotic Weld Operator - 3rd Shift (4-10's)

Description Northern Manufacturing, a worldwide leader in stainless steel fabrication, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Automation Team on 3rd shift. 3rd Shift Hours: 7:30pm to 6:00am, Monday-Thursday Duties and Responsibilities: · Responsible for setting up and programming and operating the robotic welders, 5-axis laser, and/or other automation equipment. · Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and shop routes for necessary instructions · Adjust fixtures when needed and add controls to ensure parts are fabricated according to instruction. · Monitor the robots performance and troubleshoot when necessary. · Perform visual inspections of pieces being processed to ensure quality parts are produced. · Load and unload materials. · Follow all safety protocol related to the position and use of each machine. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required.
