Position Title Pharmacy Technician II - Acute Care Bell Hospital: Position Summary / Career Interest: Join our Acute Care Pharmacy team! The Acute Care Pharmacy Technician team serves our inpatient locations at our main campus in Kansas City, Kansas, by supporting the distribution, compounding, and packaging of medications across our inpatient units. This critical role ensures that nurses and other providers have the medications they need to administer to patients while in the hospital. Current shift options listed below: - Days 7am - 3:30pm with rotating weekend commitment - Evenings 2:30pm - 11pm with rotating weekend commitment - Midnights 7:30pm - 7am with a 7 day on, 7 day off schedule Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: - Prepares medications for dispensing: Has above average efficiency while maintaining accuracy during preparation of sterile or non-sterile compounds. Uses knowledge and expertise to navigate the preparation of complex sterile compounds. - Distributes medications and stock items: Pulls and stocks ADS machines with high accuracy and timeliness and above average efficiency.
